Printmaking at Druckwerk, Basel, Switzerland
Returned to Basel to participate in the fifth residency at the Druckwerk print studio, this years theme ended up as SWARM - didn't know where to begin with this one and unlike last year didn't take the theme literally. The results are two large scale print works with a slight political twist.

Subconscious Control of the Masses uses a familiar topic of arrows in my work, but looks at them in a different way - how we swarm around the city without really noticing their guiding presence.

This nine sheet panel is a relief print on Zerkall paper measuring 136 x 170cm. The arrows are hardly noticeable from certain angles - but caught in the right light reveal the confusion of directions.

War, No thanks! is a combination of playing with the work SWARM whilst listening to the Swiss radio, understanding only the english statement "THIS IS WAR" after yet another attack in France.

War, No thanks! is letterpress printed on a poster size format on black, white and newsprint paper. Each one measuring 36 x 50cm.
